na thats cool man, i was going to but trying to find one that no one has played with is very hard, its good and bad buying a suped up sti it only needs a few things cause mostly everything has been done and it saves u money on the perfomance side of things but if it's been badly treated and not tuned gonna blow.
when i brought my rex a year ago, it had nothin done to besides a turbo back 3nich trust thats all and it had only traveled 97,000kms

i feel safer doin it that way.and i can still sell all standed wrx stuff engine, running gear to gain some of the costs spent on a STI conversion

^ that's why you don't buy one that's been badly treated or not tuned... I don't think you could find a 2nd hand STi that has never ever been "given some" in its entire lifetime.. I mean why buy an STi if you are just going to drive it like its a prius.

I'm not saying I'm out there sitting on my limiter everyday but every now and then I give it some... like I'm sure vast majority of wrx owners do... if I were you I would just buy an STi, I can imagine you saving much more money that way unless you are planning to do the conversion yourself. I have seen plenty of clean STi's on the market, I highly doubt they all have been thrashed to the point where they are "gonna blow"

most if not all wrx and sti's have been thrashed at some point in their lifetime

the difference is sti's are built to be driven 'aggressively'

LOL

Every car has been abused in it's life. Don't want a highly abused car, buy new.

Want to see your brand new wrx/sti/libbo be redlined on a roller dyno right after it has been assembled? Go to a Subaru factory in Japan.

Starting your own club is so much more cooler than joining an existing one that caters to the exact same thing.
