Default Hello from Orange NSW

Hi My Name is Nick and i'm new here.

I own a 07 WRX, i bought this in Jan this year. I used to own a R33 Skyline about 4 years ago. I don't know that much about rex's but i'm learning. One thing i hate is the keypad where you put your code in and the alarm. I can't open the boot without unlocking the car first. I have recently installed a COBB SF intake and airbox to keep the pigs(cops) happy.
I have also brought a used STI TMIC, Rota Gravels and a TD05-20g turbo. I'm looking for 200+ atw kw. I plan on buying a Walbro fuel pump and injectors. I don't won't to go down the Canon exhaust route as i have done that and i hate the noise while driving. I probably consider a twin tip single exhaust set up with 3" pipe. It's hard to find parts here in Aus. I'm not affraid of buying parts from USA, i just hate the shipping costs and exchange rates. Let me know if i'm on the right track. I will post some pics of the car and parts sometime.

Here are the Gravels 18x8 +48. Kumho ku31 235/40/18. Put them on last week. They ain't half bad. Wish they had some dish. I was trying to sell them what was i thinking?

Welcome!

Car looks great, loving those rims!

There's a few good online vendors around, Tuspeed probably the biggest of them.. Most of them are based over east like you, so shipping should be good

Carmods Australia are pretty competitive with pricing at the moment, so I suggest you check them out http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/carmods-australia/

Also, I recommend Greg @ GSL Rallysport for brakes etc

There is a wealth of knowledge on these forums, just search and you shall find

Keep us updated with the progress on your car!

I assume that you have a factory installed Brant system.
Can be replaced (most replace with Autowatch 457 system) but they are good for piece of mind.

Even if someone takes your keys, you still know they cant take the car.

Oh, and welcome to P-WRX

Welcome. Very nice car you have there.

I like the rims personally.. just lower the car and it will look the part.

a 3" pipe? Do you mean a diff back set up, or just the tail pipe?

Hi Nick, welcome, car looks the goods!

Twin tips are hard to come by though I remember a member on the The Official Impreza WRX Club Inc. forum had a twin tip on his 04 WRX (was a remus....but their site only lets you pick BMW or VW )

Maybe someone on here will have more info on twin tippies for the 06's.

Enjoy the car and the club mate.

Roberts Bakery sells some good stuff. Been operating a long time.

I'd like to lower the car but Orange's roads are not the best at the moment. Plus my driveway and other driveway's around town are steep. The front with the lip attached scraps and I do go at an angle.
