Welcome, sorry to sort of highjack but just a question......what does R/A really stand for? Some say it's Record Attempt from when Subaru held the world 24hr speed record in 89, 94 & 98 with R/S, GT & B4 Legacys which came straight from the production line except for roll bars being fitted, does anyone actually have the official meaning from Subaru in print or does it have two meanings?

Clint,

V quiet tapping on open but gets louder as I dial in the lock.

I had a Type R centre diff fitted due to the stronger 2 lug design so the guy who did it is sorting it out...we'll see how things develop!
