im 18 and ive been into cars since i was 7ish...
been around holdens and hsv's for ever, recently i decided to make the move to the world of turbos.
i decided that the best car i can buy is a wrx because they have plenty of traction so i wont slide it into a pole or a fence.

my plan is to buy an 02 wrx and put some nice mods in to make it a nice daily and a weapon on the motorkahna track.
you will most likely see me at the rac driving centre when the club goes out for track days, just look for the two tone vn commodore :P

im gonna be doin my research about subarus over the next 2 months so if there is any info u think i may like to know just reply to any of my posts

Hi mate - welcome to the world of turbos!

AWD won't save you from trees and fences, talent helps... but you have to drive to the conditions! I was a holden/hsv fan when I was a kid, but after seeing the Subaru way, I wouldn't go back!

Heaps of info here on 02STI's, if thats what you are looking for... Even some good ones for sale (DTrally is selling a blue one for a good price and he's our favourite mechanic so I would trust his judgement - if you are keen)

Welcome but please be realistic.....Any car will slide in the right/wrong circumstances.

well yes obviously if someone drives a wrx and thinks its a magnet to the road no matter what, they are gonna end up somewhere they dont want to be with alot of explaining to do haha
