Default Howdy new fozGT owner

Hi all, starting to mod my 99GT and this is a great forum for info and parts trading. Ive done some intake work already - silicone inlet, silicone y-pipe, sti intercooler, apexi panel filter, in guard CAI, throttle coolant bypass. now im looking at upgrading the turbo to a TD04L or a VF24/34 and a 3" turbo back exhaust. At the moment im looking for a 3" dump and mid pipe, already have an x-force twin tip muffler. GC8 mid and dump are compatible so if anyone is selling either of these let me know.

Cheers,

DeejW

welcome mate from another foz owner, the forester exhaust will require a 100mm extension piece to be added between the diff back and the mid pipe if you are using a system designed for a wrx i have one of these in my shed left over from my project if you end up needing it

you'll be amazed the difference even a td04 will make over the tiny stock tf035

and yeah, chuck some pics up please

Welcome mate, Fellow GT Foz owner Make sure you sign up over on OzFoz.com.au as well, but most of the WA guys from there are on here too.

sorry forgot about the thread thanks all, yeah I did the inlet myself it took me 2 days to get the manifold off and the inlet in and manifold back on but I also did the rocker cover gaskets at the same time as they were leaking onto the up pipe and stinking up the cabin. Looks stock from the outside, black and silver 2tone. Going for the sleeper look because Id rather spend my limited funds on engine mods once Im happy with the performance il move on to suspension then some exterior mods.
