Welcome to Perth-WRX mate! Good luck in your hunt. I'd buy a manual, just make it one with an STI 6speed so she can't break it! She'll get the hang of it eventually.. either that, or don't let her near the thing!

Gen 5's are fucking horrid. Whoever signed on the design should be forced to watch reruns of jersey shore forever and a day. Fucking fucking horrid, body lines are so out of porportion its not funny, massive wheel arches, ugly as fuck headlights.

How could they go so wrong after the sublime lines of a gen 4?

Can they be made to move? The S had the same engine as the WRX, 193kw but with the 5 speed paddle shift auto. An exhaust and a tune will realise about 190kw at the wheels!

As for looks, the picture at the bottom is the WRC colour S as in comes from the factory, and with a little TLC it could look as good as this: (with thanks to American Dave for the pic)

Stock everything, bar exhaust and tune to net 190kw at all 4 wheels? Sounds a wee bit excessive to me with no further mods. If this is true then i am more than impressed, but sincerely doubt it.
