Hi my name is Ramon and my passion is WRXRW.

I wish to build the ultimate wrx, regardless of how long and how much it takes to get there.

Its currently in this build process. Hopefully if all goes well it will be completed just in time for Motorvation 06.

An update of how its going and what direction its all taken....

After months of narrowing down a roll-cage design, this is some of what I came up with, and as I type this its being bent and welded up. It features many new unique design concepts taken from various roll-cage schools of thought (V8 Supercar, WRC, CAMS, FIA) all fuzzed into one. Brief overview: the "Carlos" bar will be straight as a seperate to the lateral double "X" bars joined with a neat triple gusset feature. The A-Frame will show a WRC inspired plate with reduced stepped back plates. The roof will be a series of crossed over "Y" and "V" bars (allowing room for the Group A Carbon Fibre Roof Scoop) following into the main hoop and extending the design to the rear. All body frames once again will feature a WRC ripped-off idea of having a plate and gusset reducing the larger holes. The last bit of new design work that Im willing to talk about here (have to leave a few things in the top secret draw) is the double "U" shaped rear bar strut tower bar work with the gusset joining them both.

The roll-cage has also been designed around the use of integrated air-jacks.

A few more teaser plans to go along with the last update from the previous forum: single wiper blade conversion with the wiper motor hidden behind the firewall, lexan rear windows with integrated air scoops, quick release bumpers on alley key hex bolts and a full carbon fibre interior replacement.

I look forward to getting to show you all this crazy'ness.
