I've done the oem STI VF35,VF34 single scroll & VF37 Twinscroll conversion and Its not worth it imo(in terms of what you need to buy $$$ to do the conversion)
but I hate the subie rumble love the TS noise tho coop with straight pipes .

You will net similar results around 275-280hp(hub) and around 400nm torque

Only thing is that TS will give you more low down torque and a slightly faster spool up but the VF35 with the oem P15 housing should spool the same?

If not a wrx TD04 with 2bars should do it.

Get a Verso tune with 26spi and a forge actuator then bulk suspension works dont worry about the rims. OEM FTW

Agreed. Dont bother with twinscroll. Just get a tune on your car. Easy 200kw at the wheels. Lag is just something you have to deal with. But boost is worth waiting for.

also with twinscroll you dont have to dial such a high rpm to clutch kick in order to spin all 4 due to low down torque
and it easier to do skids like RUSSGT's DP

Its had two Verso tune's, but its due for another. Ran 255hp at the hubs on its last run. What does that equate to at the tyres? Cause thats only about 190kw... I thought that was standard kw.

Also another noob question - how do you know how much boost you are running??

Factory kw's are at the flywheel, it all depends what wheels you end up having,

but onto the boost, best way is a decent boost gauge, gives you a good idea all times what boost you have at certain rpm's, good for fault diagnosing

Wheel I like the rims I have now I always though the further down the line - eg tyres gives you less HP/KW - as in it would read more at the fly then at the wheels? Am I completely wrong? lol

I have a boost gauge, but im guessing reading in Kpa or Psi? They are Defi

~190Kw standard is at the motor or flywheel... You would be getting substancially less output at the hubs/wheels when stock!

You should be able to see the boost reading on the dyno printouts from ASG when they tuned the car, but if you have a Defi gauge, it is most likely displaying in PSI or 'Bar' of boost(1 bar = 14.7psi)

Have you changed anything on the car since it ran 255hp on the dyno? If not, there really isn't any need to get the car retuned?

Its just had suspension done. But the last tune was in Oct 2008... so its a while ago.

Do you only need to tune once you mod? Or should it be done at regular intervals?
