Hi all!!
Hi all,
My name is michael and Ive just sold my S15 and now thinking of getting a wrx. There is a silver one with gold rims and sti kit at a dealer in wangara, just wondering if any of youse know the car? Its a 99 silver wrx, 17" gold rims, sti kit, microtech, few gauges and the dude at the dealer reckons it has an sti engine installed at the beginning of last month.. There is a reciept for a new engine but on the receipt it says '03 wrx import test motor'. I have no idea what this means. Is there a way you can tell an sti engine from a normal wrx engine just by looking at it? and is there any differences between the aus spec wrx engines and an imported one? Thanks in advance, Michael |

Damn how come the swap? I think I'd prefer an S15 to an MY99!

I think one of the dicernable differences between the 2 is that an STi TMIC is silver and a WRX TMIC is black, but may not be entirely correct, good luck getting a rex, good little cars and endless potential

Check the engine number. If it's an EJ207 it is an STi motor.
