Default Hello: new wrx build

have been a member for a while now but never got around to the introduction so here it is.

about 2months ago i picked up a 2006 m06 wrx stock from a dealership.

my plans were to turn it into a daily driver that looked mean and was worthy of some auto comps i.e. sound/bodywork

once the kit arrived i took it down to pro street in kelmscott where it was fitted and painted by Brad the owner (did a great job).

the kit was matched plus had some two toning done on the front lip and the rear bumper. i also had the boot shaved completely including the lock. and any of the badges on the skirts that were left from zerosports were also smoothed out.

the kit took a week and a half to get perfect and a lot of late hours put in by brad at the workshop. the final product came up great but i was concerned that now it looked really high off the ground so i made the decision to sacrifice the money i had saved for new rims and spent it on a set of coil overs. So i painted my rims then purchased some coil overs, for this i can thank MAO at evolution R did a great job and assured the car looked amazing.

Going to get a lot of people who will say don't waste you're time with a turbo timer.
Also check what the stance is of you're car insurer first

Rear end looks good with the blacked out bit. Front bar... not keen.
Details of sound system?
Blow off valve and turbo timer.... no.
Expansion tank... why?
If you're getting intake and upgrading the intercooler, are you going to get a tune? Does it have a tune currently?

Turbo timer as per the other million threads on here is not needed and just let's you waste fuel idling. Also, if you have the factory brant system, it is a pain in the ass to get it to work with it. So save your money there.

BOV isn't needed either, only do it if you want noise (and cop attention).

I would suggest structuring your build better as it seems a bit all over the shop. Basically get one area finished, then work on the other. i.e. you badly need rims to suit that body kit. I'd get that done before I worry about interior or FMIC kits.

Also, before worrying about engine mods, select your tuner and what turbo setup you are going for. No point adding mods and only having the stock TD04 on it.

Yep agreed on the rims....

Also it looks pretty aggressive and tough from the back but the front gives me flashbacks to those OTT front bars from Blitz and Veilside...
