Default Hello

Hello everybody. I am a new member living the southern suburbs of Perth.
I am originally from Scotland and have been is Australia for about a year. I work as a drill fitter for one of the mining companies.
In the next month or 2 I will be looking to purchase a Impreza WRX, something around 3-4 years old. Budget will be around $30k.
I am a great believer in car owners clubs and buying cars between members. My previous 3 cars at home were all bought through online clubs.
Currently driving a $1000 Liberty, knackered drive shafts, engine mounts, clutch, no air con and a few other things but she's still going!
Heres a couple of my old cars at home, (both aquired through car clubs) I haven't seen many of them around these parts. And please bear in mind 200 bhp is considered pretty powerful in the UK

UKDM Honda Civic Type R - 2.0l NA

Seat Ibiza Cupra - 1.8l Turbo

Welcome!

30k will find you a nice Subi on these forums. Feel free to post up what you're thinking to get for some input, im sure there are members here that would have a few words to say about the cars (good or bad).
