Default MY project "1rex2nv"

Hey there guys and gals,

This is my first post so i thought i would tell ya'll about my new project. its a 98 wrx, i bought it a couple months ago has some damage to the boot from when the kid tried to "swerve to miss a cat". From the look of the road he only used his handbrake to miss it lol..

My plans are to get this going and running well without burning to big of a hole in my pocket. So far i picked up a new rear subframe, drive shaft, JDM lateral links and control arms. Bout $500 all up.

Picked up a set of 3 apexi EL2 60mm gauges and control unit for $500 off ebay so i think thats a pretty good score.

Now waiting on my full coilover suspension to come which cost me about $1000. The boot has been shifted towards the drivers side about a 3rd of an inch. So me and my old boy are gonna see if we can shift it back over as the panel beater we spoke to said that we should be able to do it with a port a pac. If anyone has done something like this or similar any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im still contemplating on whether to install the engine upgrades myself or just sending down to perth and getting it proffesionally done as its removed from car already.

So if anyone has any suggestions on great mechanics in perth or WA please feel free to contact me, also if anyone selling any interior, cooling or engine upgrades please send me a PM.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and i will put up some pics of how the car is now.

Until the next post guys and gals

Take care.

good luck with your project.

However, you may consider changing the title of the thread.

I can't think of anyone (apart from maybe yourself) who would be envious of your wrx.

Sorry.

This appears to be an awesome build project!!

Then I read about the number plates.

The whole "2 NV" thing went out in the 90's. Commonly seen on Commodores that I was not envious of (ie: they were buckets of shit!!).

Your car deserves something unique for its number plates!
