Default Hello Everybody

Hello everyone

Ive been on Pwrx for a few years now but never posted as i have never had a rex.
But i am glad to say in 2 weeks after years of saving and being a tight ass i am finally able to get my very own WRX.

I am new to WRXs having driven a 1994 honda integra for the last 6 years. It was a great little lightweight car but was always short of power and i never had enough confidence in its grip but it was good fun.

I will be aquiring a sedan MY11 standard wrx and as soon as the 3 year warranty is expired in november i have a few plans!

after years of trawling the forums it seems the TMIC, TBE, fuel pump and cold air intake are the starter mods of choice, so over the next 5 months ill be researching into that and any help will be greatly appreciated.
In the short term im thinking of replacing the stock stereo HU with an aftermarket HU with sat nav and any advice would be great.

Speak to you all soon =)

Welcome

Don't forget to run all mods before the forum before doing anything. Actually, its probably best to run it past them even if you are thinking about them.

Look forward to photos of the car.

PS. Don't even think about carbon wrap.

Norms11, apologies if my original post seemed harsh, I was just trying to be amusing. I received many similar responses when I joined. There are lot of helpful people around and you will get a lot of useful advice.

Welcome!

I came from a DC2 VTiR with a Type R conversion. Super fun light-weight car!

Im lucky that there is already a lot of info and discussion for the 2011+ models and it will be nice to be able to contribute and draw on the wealth of experience and knowledge instead of just reading and getting jealous haha

and no worries thehowlfactor i didn't take it as harsh, if im going to spending the big bucks i wont be making the decisions without some advice.
The photos will come as soon as i take ownership but it is a gorgeous metallic charcoal!
