Default Hi...

Greetings people...

Just joined recently... have owned Sube's for over 15 years, but finally just got into my first WRX... I have a Black Mica MY06 WRX stock standard atm apart from a 2.5" cat-back exhaust and a Kenwood head unit... I have lots of mods in the planning stages at this time and will be beginning the upgrade program soon... will post pics as mods are done if people are interested in seeing them.

cheers,
J.

What are you proposing to do?

It is an unwritten rule here at Perth-WRX that we as a collective group must approve of your mods (especially cosmetic) prior to purchase and installation.

edit: oh yeh, welcome!

Hey Trolly....

just for you... planning to lower it 1 to 2 inches, front & rear strut braces, 18" 5 spoke wheels [Black]... interior LED light conversion [dome, map & instrument panel] double DIN head unit + upgraded speakers, probably with an amp and 12" sub too... a triple gauge pod to replace the factory clock with oil temp & Px and a boost gauge... engine-wise, at this stage, cold air intake, STi TMIC blow off valve.... basically...

Excellent answer, allow me to suggest:

-blow off valve
+turbo back exhaust
+tune

No point doing CAI and TMIC without a tune and decent exhaust to support those mods.
I'd also go sway bars before strut braces.

hey Trolley,

yup, planning a BOV as well as either an STI TMIC or aftermarket TMIC... looking at the an ECUTek tune in conjunction with the other engine mods.... any thoughts on a brand of BOV and CAI?

Would you go urethane sway bar mounts as well the sway bars? any recommendations on bars too?

cheers,
J.

U might wanna have a look, blitz touch brain. It displaces up to 8 items(ie, boost ex temp, afr, intake temp, fuel flow rate and timing). Give mao a pm to get a quote.

Imho, bov is unnecessary, unless u get bigger turbo. And like trolley said sway bar is more effective than strut brace but front should be thicker than rear. H and fender brace are good options too.
