New to this. Bought the scooby as an impulse buy, wife wanted a 350z. But some bogans had stolen the alloys the previous night from the dealership.

It's a 2011 wrx. Drive very nicely and gets some proper speed from it when it gets shifting. I have had 2 tickets thus far and bought myself a valentine v1 from the sponsor of the forum. To try and limit any more.

Plans for it, would not mind STi or getting it tuned further. The white was wife's choice. I am using it as my entry drug to a GT-R. But want to have some more fun in this first.

Downside to this is any spacca in a v6/v8/xr piece of crap tends to want to drag race all the time. They don't comprehend just how quick off the mark this badboy is.

It has handled itself well in recent wet weather and runs nicely on vpower or bp ultimate which are the only fuels I will stick in it.

Anyway. Hello again, as a starting point, as a newbie, what mods should I get done to it?

How far do you plan to mod it?

Might be worth stopping yourself from spending money and grabbing an STI as a base to mod from if thats the plan.

Otherwise a few grand will get you a long way on the WRX.
Exhaust, fuel pump, tune (with a touch more boost), sway bars, springs or coilovers, good tyres = happy days

Or repeat the above with an STI and already have the better brakes, gearbox, diffs, stronger engine etc to pump more boost into etc and have yourself a weapon!

Some ineresting ideas. Like I said this is intro car and deciding how much I want to pop into the scooby compared to buying the GT-R I have my eye on. I was a bit annoyed that they didn't at least have the STi wing on it.

Might go for ECU remap. Got pirellis all round.
I do feel the std brakes/discs aren't too fantastic for a car with such a kick? might be worth upgrading them, but what to?

or your right might be worth trading to STi itself.
