Default Back in a rex.. missed it

Hey guys,
After selling my04 and going to a 4x4 for 8 months I couldn't resist and picked up a 2013 WRX on Friday.

I have to say this thing really makes me smile like no other car I have owned.

Picked up Friday, fitted some new wheels Saturday morning with Wei.

For now I am just changing the mufflers over to get a bit more of tone out of her, also changing head unit on Saturday, back to double din alpine unit.
I will probably also change the springs over to kings @ some point during the week to make it sit a 'little' lower.

I want to keep this one as practical as possible.. ie; not too low..
Look forward to seeing you guys around an stalking out the forums again.

of course, pics;

gumby, TROLLEY and Slap Dash like this.

Welcome back. As far as practicality and cost, WRX's aren't the best cars to own.

But they will always put a smile on your face!

Best of luck with the new one.

I've put together a bit of a list after doing a little research I have decided this is the path I would like to follow.

First ill do;
Whitelines 24mm Front Swaybars
Whitelines 22mm Rear Swaybar
Whitelines Front and rear endlinks
Kartboy 5-Speed Short Shifter

Then;
ULTREX TBE
AEM cold air intake
DW fuel pump
PW tmic
Grimmspeed 3-Port Electronic Boost Control solenoid
Tune.

what do you guys think?

Good list but wouldn't you want a bigger REAR sway bar to offset possible understeer.

When I spoke to John @ Wheels World, he said that the newer models were different from the previous ones.
Might be an idea having a look at some of the 11+ driveway threads to see what people have done.

Front are ok, I would be hesitant to use the rears.
The design of the bracket that sits inside the rear lower control arm needs a redesign and will fail prematurely due to the way in which the nut/bolt gets tightened down onto the weld.

Might I suggest getting the front and rear shifter bushings first, I found a much better improvement from doing them alone.
Might be worthwhile looking at group N mounts and better bushings for the gearbox.

Found a wing and bootlid, had Owen paint it up and came up great!
