Hey people.
Been on these forums for years and owned a few early model rex's in my time.
Sold my last MY94 rex for a deposit on my 1st house. Then had to try my luck with a V8 and bought a 06 model SS brand new back in 06 (2months after they were released). Did the usual mods on that and netted 358rwhp which was more than enough for the barge.
Sold that 2 years later for a family spec car (i now have two sons) and have been scouring the classifieds and forums for a decent MY00 with log books and no mods, as I have been craving about owning a wrx again....i really did miss them

Wed morning I finally found one
Its a MY00, Mica red, genuine 103,500km with full log book, Genie cat back exhaust and thats it, stock as a rock. Has been very well looked after and besides the slight trolly scratch & dent it presents VERY clean.... even the doors dont have ripples in them which I found to be a common thing.
Going from my daily 06 Ford focus to this has been nice change to say the least!! Bugger I got flashed by a rear-facing camera on the way home from the dealership tho

Future mods will be very minimal. Im keen to fit a TBE and coil overs, but apart from that I would really like to keep this a nice clean example of the last of the old shape models. Pull the small dints out and just keep her looking mint.

Will have my [W ARGHH X] plates back on it once I get my papers in the mail

PS: Being back behind the wheel of a dak dak is the best feeling
