I was interested in buying the following vehicle and was wondering if you know who previously owned it (hoping owner was on this forum). The vehicle seems quite modified...obviously it's a bit of a risk buying a car like this out of warranty, I wanted your opinion of whether you guys would consider buying it if you were in my shoes. Does the engine bay look stock to you?

FMIC, Intake, BOV... Hard to tell from a picture.

Presumably a tune to make it run correctly.

That car has been for sale for awhile now. You may be able to push the price down a fair bit if they think you are a legit buyer.

Buy this instead for the same money or less, at least the history of this Betty is on this forum for all to see. 'Serbaru' is the owner.

That thing you posted up is running a FMI and willl probably be laggy, it looks far from stock. Also it will attract a lot of attention from 5.0 with stupid wing.

Yes. The 2010 Spec R with the big wing has been crashed and repaired (front end). I also heard that the guy who used to own it drove it like a helmet.

Hopefully the fuel tank ruptures as well, burning that abomination.

Best advice thus far is to look at Serbaru's car, knowing that it has a built engine is good as there have been a number of people having issues with 08's (ringlands/bearings).
