Hi everyone, my name's Tomi. I live in the Stirling area. My Impreza is quite a complicating one. In the past it has gone through a conversion of some sort. I didn't notice this when I bought it a year ago as I was only an L plater at the time. So, the VIN says its a 1993 LX but the engine is a pre-1996 WRX engine (no idea on the actual year so I'm just going to call it a 1994). There are some minor issues that I would like to fix up. One is the boost control setup. It has a MBC but still uses the factory solenoid (it shouldn't right?). The MBC's "bolt" has fallen out, so for now, i just have tape covering the hole. The highest boost I get to is about 5 psi (I did a search on this forum and found the factory boost level is 11 psi). I would really like to fix and clean up this setup I have here.
