Ok I think the right question Would have been would a stock retune/reset work or do I need a change in ecu mapping like a flash tune?
And is there any requirement to change injectors and fuel pumps if I'm not increasing boost past the threshold of stock capability eg; 10psi

You are effectively changing the rate of which the exhaust flows through the system and as such the default parameters in the ECU won't match.
Get the ECU retuned for peace of mind as well as unlocking as much of an increase in horsepower and torque.

Have a look in this thread for a list of online stores that sell exhausts for the 08 models (ie Ultrex, Car mods, Pro Speed, etc).

You could also contact any of the workshops/tuners around Perth to see what their opinions would be on the matter, they should also be able to assist putting a package together for you (ie, purchasing, installation, retuning, etc).

Thanks for that. That was the more in depth answer I was looking for..
The reason I asked is that I live in Darwin and this place is crap for anything performance concerning rexy's I just wanted to know what I can get away with for now till I move down south.

Theoretically stock tune would work. But at wide open throttle, with bigger pipe, turbo back pressure decreases(better flow), and intake pressure (boost) increases. Air/fuel ratio increase(lean), detonations occur more easily. Ecu will try to compensate by increase fuel injectors duty circle (more fuel). But there is a limit, ie a cold evening (denser air).

Same thing would happen if u change inlet hose, w/o retune.

This is why tuners scale up all fuel injector pulse width, especially at high rpm.

If ur exhaust is stock, u might want complete turbo back exhaust. Imo, effective diameter is the smallest crossection area along the pipe.

Ps: This is just my thought feel free to correct me, and I would like to learn.

If u use android, get a app called torque. They have fuel flow, mass air flow, and narrow band boost and airfuel ratio. If u can also download a wedge, called knock detector. It tells u if which rpm ecu detects knocking (detention), the timing degree and correction value at that time.

Cost u only $20, its a must have.

Not I know of. U can buy a second hand android phone for $100, and mount in the car as gauge. Preferably Samsung, u can change the battery

Torque also display exhaust/intake/water temp, engine power (not accurate, but consistant enough to tell u if ur car lose power) and many more.
