Default New STi on block

G'day rex rollers, just making the usual intro post.

Recently upgraded from a '98 Impreza GX to '08 STi... bit of a difference haha.

Have many plans for future upgrades (coin dependent).

Here she is next to the 'ex', stock as a rock at present.

Haha thanks lads! Yeh not a bad upgrade at all joshrx!

Looking for low end torque whilst sticking with the stock VF48 turbo, not fussed about going +300km/h. Will try and keep the car looking mostly stock on the exterior to avoid attracting unwanted attention haha *insert popo emoticon.

I'm not 100% sure on exact mod list necessary for low end torque, that's what I'll be using this forum for! (thanks in advance
But straight up I was thinking:
- TBE
- EL headers
- Upgraded fuel pump
- ECU tune

Seems the most cost-effective way without getting into boring/honing out cylinder heads, domed pistons, upgrading CAMs, bigger fuel injectors, etc. Can't justify the cost to split the block when it's only done 50,000km fault-free. If I blow a head gasket or piston ringland I'll probably go all out on the latter.

Here are a few more pics, sorry about the quality, taken using my POS iPhone4s. As I said it's completely stock. The other car belongs to RonRex.

Fuel pump not necessary for a tune with stock turbo on 98ron.

Nice Betty bro.
