Thanks for the info ^_^ will have to phone around tomorrow for some more quotes.

Haha don't worry I don't intend on driving like a d*ckhead anytime soon and I'll be keeping my distance from power poles!

Cheers guys, very stoked to find her that's for sure.

So I just got back from STechnic, Damien was really helpful, gave it a free inspection and turns out there're no leaks, just marks (result!). Booked in for my 100k service considering it is a ten year old car and possibly getting an exhaust kit for ~1400/~1800 (the current one is "falling apart" haha), either Ultrex or XForce1. I've read they're both good and it's hard to tell on youtube so I'm going to go in tomorrow and have a look at an STi with one installed.

Is that for exhaust and tune? What current exhaust is falling apart?

Just for the exhaust. Apparently the system I have installed. Got a second opinion from Willetton Exhaust, they reckon it's not falling apart, if they cut back the head bracket (apparently for Subaru they have varying sized brackets?) the rest of the system should shift into place. It wasn't hitting the sway bar as I've been told twice, part of the middle section of the exhaust (I'm sorry, still a noobie) has been banging against a nut on the under-chassis.

Couple of hundred bucks as opposed to getting an entirely new system replaced when I'm happy with the one I've got just getting repaired doesn't seem like a bad deal :)
