Pretty sure the oil cooling design on Subarus make timers unnecessary unless you're planning on breaking lap records on your way to work.

+1 headers can Change volume. I was running empire headers for a short period of time and the exhaust was louder.
+1 you do not need a turbo timer

Factor in a couple of hours labour to install group n engine/trans mounts on a hoist. Cunt of a job without a hoist.

Those mounts do make a difference over the stockers, I also have the Whiteline positive shift bushes which compound the effect.

Shift action is firmer and more direct and the car feels more solid when giving it herbs at the track, the effect is not so noticeable on the street for obvious reasons.

And if you're worried about the car being too loud with headers (it won't be), just get a cheap little hotdog muffler put into your mid-section pipe. Gains > noise.

I've got EL headers, up pipe and X force tbe....It's only really loud during cold starts and wot. Normal driving either around town or on the highway its hardly noticable...Though that could be due to the tonne of dynamat in my car ???

Mine is the same Shaunus. First 30 seconds of startup my car is loud. Driving around... not loud.

Should I be also picking up electronic boost controller solenoid like Grimspeed one for the tuning? I'm getting done in the next month or so.

Next order consists of so far
-Grimspeed heat sheild
-PTP lava turbo blanket
-Q300 cat back
- Dw65 Pump
-Perrin Pitch stop mount

So thats:
TBE, PW TMIC, Fuel pump and CAI. Should their be anything else should picking up other then turbo, E85 or headers. As i want to leave those mods stock til next couple years .

Yep the Grimspeed ones won't fit on our cars without cutting a large portion of the shield, I found out the hard way when selling Grimmspeed stuff before.

If you really want one just get a Cusco one.
