Just Introducing myself formally, I'm a Mechanic, motorsport enthusiast and I had been in Perth for many years when I purchased my first Subaru, a GDB sti with all the usual young bloke mods being:
Biggest exhaust in the world, mammoth stereo, neons, big rims and big turbo.
Came with a free busted clutch, worn out tyres and unusual rattles.
So, I had a chat with the STechnic boys then I filled a bin with anything non essential to race, stuck a Jim berry clutch in, Changed a heap of gaskets, belts etc and we went tarmac racing.
Managed to bust an engine mount towards the end of the first day so it was back into the shed for cusco mounts, better pads, new brake fluid, r spec tyres, new radiator. Run like a charm since then, best car I have owned, way faster round the tight stuff than my VE gts and does not break every time I race it.

Ok so hopefully that gives you an idea of who I am.
