Thanks guys, someone asked me about what mods and power i had.....well atm it's not going hard at all, iv'e got a blown turbo, so its only running at one, so even an RX impreza might have a chance. But before the turbo went i had 323Kw at the wheels, and that was just with a full zorst, highflowed steel rotor turbos, boost, air intake, and an apexi SAFCII.
I've already bought my single turbo conversion kit, big TO4 going in pretty soon.

heres a pic of the to4, compared to my head......and i have a big head

damn thats a nice figure!! yeah if u wann go real fast a supra is a good option. whats the benefits of changing from the stock twin turbos to the big single turbo, notice alot of supras owners do it, how much power increase you get?

Welcome. I also considered supra's before i bought my rex, but the lack of 4 doors pulled me away. A lot of my friends had 2 door cars and crawling in was annoying so I thought I'd be one of the more sensible ones.

Well basically it gives u about 400-450Hp at the wheels straight away with only a FMIC, comp, zorst and intake, but u can get that if u highflow the stock twins also, however thats about as far as you'd go with the twins, not much room if you'd wanna go bigger twins, and would cost you heaps also.

Basically people go single once they've blown the twins because in the long run all mods will be cheaper as your dealing with one turbo, and you have the potential to go to even bigger turbos as your not limited in space in the engine bay.

The negative i suppose is the feel of the car, what alot of people love about the supras is the feel of the sequential turbo setup, smooth acceleration throughout the revs, but when u go big single, its just a massive boost of power in one go, which is pretty dangerous if u lose traction. As i'm sure some of u have seen not long ago when a supra with a big single lost it and smashed at kwinana.

On a different note, i see most of you had thought about supras, but opted for the wrx because of the 4 doors, well if you's want a cheap performance car to thrash every now and then and save miles on your wrx, the Toyota Aristo can be imported these days from japan for as little as $12,000. Basically it's a 4 door sedan with the exact same 2JZ GTE setup as the supra!

heres one example, http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au...p?StockID=3743
