Bumping: For more info

Undertaking tgv delete and when it comes to blocking up the holes from the rod:

Are people:
  • Are people just putting the rod back in (I've read that this will remove the check engine light if done this way); or
  • Filling the holes with a bolt etc.

I understand the check engine can be fixed when tuned, I'm just looking for a reliable and proven way to fix the hole issue with either the factory rod/bolt/other proven and reliable method.

Cheers,

The rods were removed out of mine and the holes welded up.

Verso definitely can, and any aftermarket ECU of course.

OR, if you're feeling rich, go and hit up ASG for a set of these..

I'm not even going to click that link Joe , as I'm assuming its the tgv delete kit?

Additional question, so all 'four', holes were welded, or the rod spacer between the two valves is left open?

Either or sounds like something to leave to an expert.

Handball time
