Hi lads, im looking at upgrading my current ecu which is a motec m48. Ive found a second hand links g4+ xtreme wire in, from what i can see they are pretty good. Just wanted to know if anyone has had much to do with them.

Are you happy with it ? Who did your tune? And i thought it was a g4+ but its the g4 xtreme . I guess most current ecu's would be a good update from my older m48 ? Im just trying to get as much info as i can.

Thanks

That's a good choice as I am looking to upgrade to the G4 + range only because of the new features the Ecu now supports I.e obd onboard knock etc, stuff my G4 can do but needs additional inputs which I do not have due to Ecu capacity

I didnt have anti lag or any features on the old one and since i upgraded to 850cc injectors the cars been a pig + colds starts a fight... So Im hanging out for this & being a more tunable ecu hopefully I should get more out of her.

When are you going ahead with this?

Im watching with interest to see if a new ECU fixes the cold start and other probs...
