Well the dust has barely settled since PC19 - QLD in September and it's already time for W.A's Biggest Horsepower Party... The Carline Mufflers Powercruise returns to Barbagallo Raceway for its second year of motoring madness where you can camp, race your mates, chuck a skid or try and toast a few toughies. After the popularity of the first PC event last year Gup decided to expand the event to a four dayer giving everyone extra time to cruise the track. Entrants and Season Campers will be able to get in early on Thursday 8th October to set up, get your car through Scruitneering and complete the Drivers Briefing and then the action will start nice and early on Friday morning.

If you went to the first WA Powercruise last year, you'll know that the marshalling lanes turned into a gridlock at one stage there on Saturday but you'll all be happy to know that plans have been made to eliminate congestion and reduce waiting times in the lanes. Whenever Powercruise visits a new track for the first time there's always going to be teething problems but I can assure you that the guys are on to it this year.

Everyone has been asking "IS ELVIS COMING BACK" and the answer to that is YES. After blowing a brand new set of Mickey T's off in the burnouts at last years Powercruise, ELVIS was in need of a little TLC and a makeover on the rear guards and doors was required so ELVIS got a full respray. Now if you haven't seen the new colour yet... Some of you will love it instantly and there's sure to be others who don't but make no mistake... ELVIS is still packing every bit of its 1273 horsepower and the Carline Mufflers Powercruise 20 is the only place you'll get the chance to experience a ride in the Turbo Taxi while it's on the west coast.

If you haven't already entered yet, unfortunately you've missed the early entrants price but that's ok because you can still turn up at the gate and pay to enter on the day... You're looking at $240 for the 4 days which is cheap as chip when you consider tickets to a two hour Black Eye Peas concert is $132. It's still much, much cheaper than getting caught and fined or losing your pride and joy for having fun in the wrong place. Spectators can party for three days for just $120 with camping or $80 if you just wanna come each day but why would you... There's nothing like waking up to the sounds of perfectly crisp motors warming up for the cruise sessions.

Don't forget if you've got kids 12 and under... they're absolutely FREE to bring plus they'll be able to hang out on the free kids rides. All passengers will need Photo ID to verify that they are 13 or older and that includes adults.
