Tuning for sure. I would not even think of just bolting it on, install would include dyno time. It’s not for my set up now anyway, it’s for my new build, starting soon. I Just want to get rid of the initial spool time of the turbo.

I do see your point, but surely clutch dumping @ 6000rpm from the start line would be much harsher on the drivetrain?

The bugeye STi with a snapped front driveshaft that I replaced says yes.

Of course they wont - but extra hp in any form is going to stress components.

It has very little to do with how the power the made, its about how you decide to transfer it to the road.
