Default HANS vs No HANS

I figured that this deserved its own thread, mods up to you.

For those thinking about some form of head and neck support while your competing, let me help you choose.

Co-driver is wearing a HANS and the driver is not.
Also from what I have been told by a reliable source, there would be little support given by the hans in a side on collision as there is nothing supporting the left side of the co drivers head.

Also remember that there isn't just HANS out there but NecksGen (what i use, gives more sideways support than a HANS) as well as Simpson making one I believe.
It is recommended that if you are running a Head and Neck support device that you do so with a 5 or 6 point harness.
Jeckle, Patch, Slap Dash and 1 others like this.
