Your issue may be you scrap your tyres prematurely through not having it set up correctly.

Its peddling time again. Whos in for Round 5?
Ive got the morning gig.

Bram 29-06-2016 07:06 AM

PM for me. I though it was the weekend after next. This round snuck up fast.

I have some new 6kg rear springs ordered. But may not be here before race day. I will swap back to the 5kg rears and try a little less camber and a little less sway bar on the rear. Hoefully improve the rear grip. And hope its dry enough to use it too.

Might show up and wash windows for coin.

Cancelled. Due to noise limit violations or some shit. And the funny thing is, its at an international airport.... how come no ine cancels a jumbo jet for noise violations. Those fuckers are loud.

Was literally just booking a trailer for the weekend when the email came through. Lucky it wasnt another 15mins later or i would have paid for a trailer i cant use...

Sneakynuts 01-07-2016 07:19 PM

I wonder who has complained?

Bram 01-07-2016 07:57 PM

Dont think its so much a complaint, more maybe someone forgot to lodge the annual paper work request for loud noise events or some thing. Bureaucracy...

nauli 02-07-2016 08:51 AM

OK guys, to give you the background....there have been ongoing noise complaints from some nearby residents....there is one guy in particular who is the main complainant. There is a sound monitoring station at the track and there has also been some monitoring near this guy's house. The tipping point was last weekend's Speed Event Series round....unknown to RAC, the Speed Event Series do not adhere to their 92db noise limit (haven't done for years) and as we know there are some very loud cars competing in that series.
Obviously these residents are near an international airport and you would think they are used to jet noise, but this particular guy has been very vocal with his complaints. Remember that the land is part of the airport and the airport authority are very sensitive when it comes to noise issues....so when they receive complaints they take them seriously and RAC pretty well have their hands tied until they get the OK from the airport folk. Noise complaints by locals about the track have been going on ever since the centre first opened.

Bram 02-07-2016 09:23 AM

This guy needs a high five to the face with a house brick. What kinda dead shit welfare dependant pleb would live next door to the airport, and then complain about noise.

We need an angry mob with burning pitchforks.
