WRX Club of WA - Club Motor Sport Championship – Round 2

This event is a speed event run over two days. Saturday will be conducted as Lap Dash/Sprint and Sunday as a Hill Climb defined by CAMS in the Speed Event Standing Regulations.

CMSC Events are open to members, non-members and all types of vehicles alike but the best value is gained when you are a club member.

Practice
The first part of the event will be a practice session with Driving Instructors available for novice drivers or club members who would like to improve their driving skills.

Competition
The second part of event will be competitive where the competitors can compete in a number of timed runs. For those competing the CMSC, points will be allotted as per the CMSC rules.

EVENT FORMAT:

Friday evening 7th April 2017
Camping is available at the circuit. Friday evening is great opportunity to bring your gear down early and get set up for a great weekends motor sport. Cooking and camping facilities including hot showers are available in the pit area and all camping fees are included in the track fees. Gates open at 5.00 pm Friday and we will lock them about 10.00 pm to give ample to travel from Perth.

Saturday 8th April 2017 - Practice / Competition
In the first part of the event, practice will be provided for all competitors. Driving Instructors will be provided for novice drivers or club members who would like to improve their driving skills.

The second part of event will be competitive where the competitors can compete in a number of timed runs. For those competing the CMSC, points will be allotted as per the CMSC rules.

Saturday Night 8th April 2017 - Social Event
WRX Club of WA will host a BYOG BBQ (BYO Meat and Drink) from the finish of competition until late at the track.

Sunday 9th April 2017 – Competition
The third part of the event will be a Hill Climb Competition on Phil's Hill. For those competing the CMSC, points will be allotted as per the CMSC rules. It is expected competition will conclude mid-afternoon on Sunday.

Participants can arrive at the track from 8.00 am each morning. Drivers briefing will be held at 9.15 - 9.30 am and track time will commence from 9.30 am. The finish time on the Sunday will be mid-afternoon to allow you to get back to Perth at a reasonable time on Sunday evening.

Double points shall be awarded to all competitors during the Collie round and will be allotted as per the CMSC rules. As Saturday and Sunday are separate events within the weekend, each day will accumulate separate Double Points.

A CAMS License is required for this event. Single day licenses can be purchased from the club at the event.

Scrutineering of all participating vehicles will be conducted prior to the event. Please see the supp-regs for more details.
