If its only for logging, you may be better off with SD card logging. You set the SD card up in the tactrix with a text file detailing the parameters you want to record. Then simply press the demist button to start recording. Then i guess you could just read the data file on the laptop.

Or perhaps look at a cheap cheap laptop just for logging. You can pick up basic models for a few hundred.

BtSsm? BtSsm an app that utilizes SSM K-line/CAN data with an OTG cable and Android device. Best for logging Learning view etc.. and it's fast just like romraider. So yeah never take your laptop out again while logging

eg. of my layout. (not connected)

Fields, then click on the one you want changed. Change gauge type to digital.
Alot just like text readout aswell, and a couple of main gauges.

If you haven't patched your rom to CAN in ecuflash it's a good idea much fast logging and resolution. Than make sure in settings your Ecu interface is CAN logging (the bottom one) if you need any more help let me know. enjoy.
