Default Wanna make my zorst louder

Hey,

My exhaust system is basically identicle to the turbo back 'driftaR32' is selling on ebay. What i wanna do is get a new downpipe to eliminate the resonator and therefore it being louder?

What i wanna do really is just make my exhaust a little louder. would getting a 'resonatorless' downpipe with a cat still in the mid pipe do this for me? Would i need to get a new downpipe with no cat or a resonator, or can i just take it to an exhaust shop and get it cut out?

Please let me know of any places that will do this for me(if any) or any good catless downpipes out there.

Cheers
-Nick

P.S i tried searching but couldnt find anything related to my 'how to make my exhaust louder' question.

An idea of what i want mine to sound like is a generic beefy boxer sound but louder(basically how mine is now but louder). I also want it to idle louder because at the last cruise i attended, my car was drowned out by all the other crazy ass wrx's there

Simply, would removing the resonator in any exhaust retain its original sound, only making it louder?

removing the resonator will make it louder and keep the original sound

Hmm yeah ive thought about yellow stickers and that but not much because ive passed a few cops with my car as it is and have never been pulled over so far(stock looking with a cannon). I just want it to be loud .. maybe its just a phase? But yeah, a loud exhaust will attract more attention and catless wrx's can get LOUD

FAQ - how do get a loud exhaust

1. get a straigh through pipe from dump all the way to muffler, ie no cat, no resonator
2. extra loud, terminate the zorst straight after the dump and let it go to atmo from there
3. run a straight through muffler, ie no packing, nothing, just a pipe

Disclaimer
i take no responsibility for the above suggestions, as they are merely suggestions and i am not putting a gun to your head to make this happen. so if you happen to get in trouble with the boys in blue, you are responsible for your actions, as you are over 18, and obviously over 18 and can make your own decisions and not rely on others to tell you what to do.

Ii dont think you even have to disclaim that. Im pretty sure most people actually know that a loud car is illegal. However, someone was telling me earlier they dont care how loud your car is anymore exhaust wise. Is this true?
