Put it this way, you would of remembered their names if they made an impression. Alot of people that are in customer service, be it garages, tradesman what have you, dont realise, you cant make a first impression twice. And that maybe the statistics are wrong, but a dissatisfied customer will always tell people about how shite their experience was, as opposed to reccomendations. Its basic laws of retail ;p

Jim Hall @Blue star = THE MAN!

No body is more comfortable to talk to than Jim, and thats a fact!

He is straight up, honest and more reliable than anyone I have come across, even helping out in his spare time when in need.
He doesn't own a big workshop with mass connetions, so he's not after your money and doesn't treat you like "the little guy".

I would recommend him to anyone who owns a subaru, but thats just my opinion

You know what is wierd, I took it to Evo R to check it out due to the ABS sensor playing up.. He took both wheels off to check and fiddled a little. He then told me that the ABS sensor would need to be replaced and that would be 150 and somehow would take 2 hours equalling another 150.

I thought ok, don't have time now but will come back tomorrow.. for some strange reason he was pushing for a deposit. I didn't end up taking it to them today thanks to the advice of the forum, but I just took my car for a 4 hour drive and not once did the ABS play up now!!?? no slipping feeling and the ABS lights where always on. I dunno if he fixed something small quickly and pushed for a bigger sale but there is nothing wrong with the ABS and before taking it there it was happening all the time.

Either way cheers guys, I will monitor the ABS for now but looking better. And if it plays up will goto RMS. but on another note I need to get a new tint so might put the money to that instead

RMS will generally always get our business, have never had any sort of a problem with them personally so havent had a reason to go elsewhere, great to deal with and always straight up, the right choice imo
