Default help needed

Today was driving along russel street when i needed to do a U turn. had some traffic comming from the other way so dropped it down to first hooked it around gave it some stick changed to second and the engine died for about 5 seconds then fired up again. Fuel issue ? the tank was half full any info would be appreciated

hah, i got that in my 02 rs, even could get it to do it with 3/4 tank of fuel. Pump proberly sucked up some air. I think that you can get anti surge kits

That doesn't stop fuel cut as fuel cut is due to your ECU

The pic there helps with fuel surges, especially when running below half tank fuel and going round corners where the fuel pump can't pick up any fuel

You'll either need to tweak the ecu, ie replace it or reflash
or get a fuel cut defender

Yeah sorry.... every one else is wrong they meant fuel surge and this will fix it.
