Default turbo boost drop off

hey guys

im gonna swap my bov back to standard when i get home to see if this helps
but just then going to the shops for lunch my car has been pulling ok in first then into second it got to about 4g and it felt like the tubo just groped off or stoped working and the car was working on N/A power?
gave it a couple more goes on the way back to work but it seems to be stuck like this? also the bov is not activating even at 5g? might be the bov or a leak?

it did this once befor but it went away when i went into 3rd.

your pal luke

If it feels like there is no boost and you cannot hear the BOV, I'd put my money on the BOV being stuck open, or the vacuum line being popped off the BOV, causing it to open under boost.

I thort BOV's were useless unless the car was tuned for them? My bet is its broked, try the stocker back on, and let us know how you go.

figured as much
i took the GFB bov apart 2 weeks ago and gave it a good clean but the valve inside didnt seem like it fited very well. i did have the standard bov on for a while and it is way better but i put the GFB one back on a week ago or so.

back to the stock bov when i get home i think no cool sound but a better running car
