If it's worn brake pads it wont just squeek while braking, you can hear it while turning and driving as well. Takes 5 mins to check for their thickness

I took my front pads out today and they where ok.

Car's booked into my workshop (yeah i work in one), and wont be worked on till the 26th!

My guess so far is bearings but i want to rule the pads out aswell, it only makes the noise under load of the vehicle...

any kind of noise under the load is bearings of some sort, i had winding noise while under load and turned out to be bearings in the front diff. I hope yours arent so expensive
