Might need to buy some longer vaccum hose from repco or something too. And a bung of some sort to plug the old plumback hose. unless you just leave the factory one in the hose, but thats a bit rough. GFB's site is very informative when it comes to stuff like that.

Kinda hijacking the thread here, but I have a GFB bov on my car, and other than that I can't tell you anything about it. The question is, before I changed the turbo and intake pipe, which was torn at the turbo end, it was a lot louder and sounded as though it was venting atmo, but since I've fixed the problem and got the car running again it is as though it is plumb back. Can this be changed, or have I done something to it? It comes out of the IC and then has a trumpet thing, but also goes into a pipe that connects to the intake.

what type of hose into the intake? it should have a skinny one. but if its got a big one, say 35 odd mm then it'll either be a 50/50 or stealth FX. the stealth fx is adjustable percentage wise as to atmo/plumback. if you can see a picture that looks like a volume control on it, it's adjustable. just wind it more atmo if thats what you're after.

Got a similar looking pic off google. Yeh bit over an inch that goes back into the intake. Nothing really that looks adjustable. the top piece that goes to the manifold was loose when I took it off though...

Yeah thats the 50/50 Hybrid. Beats me as to why you'd lose some sound. Unless you replaced your intake pipe to something more factory like... you could always buy the megasonic trumpet from GFB... pretty sure they sell them as replacements..
Oh, and if that skinny hose falls off/leaks, the BOV will open by itself under boost and will poor out...
