Default AVO Turbo for 06

Gonna be upgrading my turbo in acouple of months. Will be going on an 06 WRX which is 2.5L. Want lots of mid and top end with an early spool.. So considering the AVO 450. But got recommended the AVO 500. TD04 is way too weak for my liking after 4.5K.

Options are AVO 400, 450 or the 500

What do you guys think ?

If you going for the avo then stick to 400l until some modifications is done.

As if internals. If ASG said my mods are sufficient for these turbos then it's ok, ok ??

I'm a fan of Mitsu based turbos....the AVO turbos are big dollars for what you get, and you can get similar results from a much cheaper FP or Deadbolt turbo.

PLENTY of info on NASIOC forums of what turbos suit the 2.5 litre engines, so might be worth having a read on there also.

AVO now also has a 450s which is slightly smaller than the 450.

I'm with Joe, IMO the AVO turbos are expensive for what you get, and I would go for a Mitsubishi based turbo for much cheaper or spend that bit more and get a HKS/Trust turbo.
