I can answer a few details for Joe. Running 1.4bar of boost. Motor built by ASG.

Cheers Al

Its got work done, but nothing out of the ordinary. Just a good combo of parts, which will hopefully give me a good balance between power, driveability and reliability.

K&N pod and AVO intake pipe
Forced performance TD06-20G turbo
TurboXS FMIC
X-Force headers
RT 3" exhaust with the previously mentioned dump pipe
Sard 650cc injectors, Bosch 044 pump
TGVs deleted
MoTeC M800

The engine is a Version 7 EJ207 from Regents Subaru i.e the one with factory forged internals. Its been improved with decent race bearings, Cosworth oil pump and ARP head studs. Nothing out of the ordinary or too hardcore, but enough to handle as much power as I'd ever need

Heads are Version 8 STi heads that have been extensively ported and polished. They have the factory solid buckets, sodium filled valves, valve springs, etc. Cams are Wade billet cams with 278 duration 9.6mm lift. Specs wise, they are in between a JUN 264 and a JUN 272 cam. Not too hardcore compared to some cams out there, but again, more than enough for my needs...heaps larger than any factory offerings, thats for sure!

The power was made on 1.4 bar of boost, so its not really pushing the limits of the motor either. Rev limit is 7300rpm, no use pushing it much harder.

All work and tuning done by Sean and Nick at ASG

Good Stuff Joe!!!

Did you end up running AVCS on the V8 Heads with your M800 ?
Were they JDM or Oz Market Heads ?

We went with fixed timing cams i.e. no AVCS, although the heads still run all their oil lines, etc. The heads are JDM.
