normal intake temp would be around ambient temperature
though it can go up slightly a few degrees - but not 56 degrees |

Your first reading was done at 20 degrees, pretty much expected. The 2nd done at 76 degrees... perhaps the probe was resting on the block? End of the day - its a tuning tool, they used it to get your car much more drivable. As far as the figures go - bout as useful as putting a performance sticker on your back window.
