Default turbo upgrade questions ..

Hey,

are all IHI turbos direct bolt on and can run fine with a tmic?

Im looking to achieve 300HP atw and/or break 13 seconds. my mods are 3" tbe, big tmic, aps cai and gonna be using verso to manage it all.

i wanna be quick with alot of low-mid range power, not so much top end.
what IHI turbo would you guys recommend me?

any help will be much appreciated.

Cheers
-Nick

Vf34 - bolt on, TMIC is fine, 300hp is probably pushing a EJ205 motor a bit too far, but cracking a 12's possible.

I have an MY04 - VF34, Verso plus same other shit as you.

280PS at the hubs, ran a 13.001....definately 12's in it with more aggressive driver.

EDIT: our fat GD's need a diet too.

sounds good 'RED_MY04'. i know what the difference is between hub dynos and rolling dynos and what they measure, but whats the difference between at the hubs and at the wheels, power wise?

what do you guys think about the gt pumps turbos that tenagah supply? i was recommended a GTPS01 by them for my car ..

There ok but why would you go one of those when vf34s have been proven to work well and better than them?
