I've only had my 04 WRX for about 2 months now, and i've already had the front diff replaced under warranty. Now my rear diff has started leaking oil!! Is this a common problem??

Definately no.
I'd say yours was either a Friday arvo build or a bad batch of diffs were installed around your build year.

Take it back to Suabru for another warranty job!!!
