Actually guys the noise will be the same possibly louder BUT the "psssch" sound will not last as long.

The pressure in the pipe will be the same so each BOV will be "seeing" the same amount of air pressure (pounds per square inch (psi)). But because there are two BOVs the air will be released faster. Im not saying the air velocity out of the BOV will be faster, but the air pressure inside the pipes will drop faster.

You know when you have those duel trumpet BOV? They are generally louder than thier single trumpet counter parts even though their flow rates are slightly higher.

So in summary, yes it will work. Yes, It will probably be louder but the sound will be shorter as the air pressure will drop quicker. And yes, people will laugh at you when you pop the hood.

I do find that my blow off valves sound goes more high pitch on 21psi than it does on 16psi.

Also seems to blow fasteR? liek the noise feels shorter.

two external gates would probably be pointless and probably useless unless you have two turbos.
Just like running two BOVs is useless.

I just know that im gonna see a VL turbo within the next year with a big single turbo, two BOVs and two gates. Just for that fooolly sick maaaaate dose noise.

Thats because of the greater pressure differential that activates the BOV. You have 27InHg in the manifold but when you come off the throttle the 20psi in the IC pipes helps the push the BOV piston up further creating a larger area for the air to escape. The higher air velocity changes the noise and the air escapes quicker.

I have a pic of a rex with 2 external gates... its a twin scroll turbo setup so having 2 small gates on each pipe makes sense.

Riyaads (sp?) silver jun bugeye used to run dual BoV's

A turbosmart v-port pre cooler entry - and a sard? diaphram one post cooler

That being said - had a huge amount of boost - off a big turbo to set em off :P

A hell of alot of wank IMO.
