Link PnP
Will a link from a V6 STi plug straight in to a MY99 wagon?
Any dramas that could result? Would the existing tune work? (i know i shouldnt trust a foriegn tune) Just want to test link out on car just to make sure there arent any probs with the ecu itself. |

Yes will plug in and work.
V5 PossumLinks work on the 99-00 WRX, V5-6 STI and 99-00 Forrester. The STI's just use an extra zone in the map. Zone 17 is air tem / fuel compensation only for STi models with temp sender in air box/inlet Jamie Last edited by WRXTASY; 07-07-2005 at 11:42 AM. |

thanks heaps for the info guys....but have opted to go for wire in.....(because the other is sold)
they are not designed for a specific model right.....can be fitted and tuned for any subaru huh..... (better/easir resale) ..edit.. Just found out that this wire in link iam looking at is a piggy back it runs fuel/boost etc....standard ecu is needed for air cond etc..... All I can say is it better be cheap.
This is probably what you are looking at http://www.link-electro.co.nz/link_e...anagement.html Best bet is to Email the Tech guys at Link directly with specifics on the wire in Link. tech@link-electro.co.nz Question. Did the Piggyback come out of the V6 STi ? J |
