Hey Guys,

Being concerned with the results found with this article I did some research and spoke to the guys from Motul. Here is what I found so far;

The link above says they are doing a retraction in there mag.

Basically the machine they used is great for testing greases and some gear
oils which have different properties to engine oils.

It's a bit of a joke in the industry at the moment, as it is not a
recognized test for engine oils. Motul guys don't seem to concerned.

Unfortunally these things can do damage to products, because people don't
understand this type of thing ".

If i get more info i'll post them up.

Got some more info passed onto me by my Motul contacts. These boys are going into alot of effort to set things right.
