classic vs new maf sensors
Hey,
are the gc8 maf sensors the same as a GD? in other words, would a maf sensor on a gc8 fit on an intake for a GD?

GD AFMs are not compatible with GC8 ECUs unless they are running an aftermarket ECU that can be re-tuned to run with a different AFM.

ok, i think you guys are confused.
i have an intake with a hole for the maf sensor that came off my gd. would my friends gc8 be able to use this? in other words, would hes maf sensor bolt to this hole?

No the gc8 AFM wont bolt into that hole. You could probably make it fit with a bit of modification to the pipe though.
