Default HELP - Speed Pulse Wire

Hi All,

I have an MY06 STI and need to know what wire from the ecu is the speed pulse signal.

I am installing an Eclipse AVN6000 (Sat Nav) and it needs to be hooked up to the speedo sensor.

Would appreciate any help, eg is it a green/black wire etc.

cheers

This is the pin out diagram for a USDM 04 STI. It might not be exactly the same but its worth a look as AFAIK ADM 04 STI ecu pinout is the same as ADM 06 STI ecu pinout.

EDIT:

Let me try again, I did an installation of a shift light to a 00 wrx, it shows the speedo pin in it, should be the same

Click this:

Then go to installation
Then click on Subaru WRX 2000 Download

have you looked at the installation pdf on that site?

I could almost bet that the pin is the same on the WRX's. Just plug it in, if you get no smoke and your GPS registers a speed, you know you have the right pin
