hi guys

my car is on its way to tenagah due to a problem with a un-used oil line that keeps blowing the plug out.
i have a MY99 wrx and had the EJ207 put in and there is a oil line that my intake manifold does not use so it was pluged up and it was leaking so had it re pluged but the bloody thing keeps blowing on me and spiting out all the oil .

does/did anyone els have this problem or know of a good way to plug this up , i think when the pressure builds up its just spiting out when ever is in there.

You sure its an oil line that the intake manifold uses? As far as I know, no oil lines go to the intake mani, only vacuum lines.

sounds like a breather line

if that line is popping off you will more then likley have a blockage on the hoses somewhere, or your catch can is hooked up incorrectly.

if it is actually hooked up to your manifold, it may be the PCV valve stuck open. in any case, be careful as pressure on the crank case breathers will result in pushing the rear main seal.
